Modi Prosecco, Sorelle Bronca (75cl)

An organically grown, estate-bottled Prosecco that is vivacious and elegant, with a very fine, lively perlage. Fresh and dry, with plenty of typicity, this is the perfect aperitif!

Grape: Glera

Region: Veneto, Italy

Alcohol: 11%

Tasting notes/pairing options: Fragrant and intense nose displaying attractive aromas of green apple, lemon peel, fresh peaches and floral notes. On the palate it is fresh and delicate, with tangy acidity.

Organic, suitable for vegans and vegetarians

The viticulture/the winemaking:

Viticulture is organic. The vines are trained in single Guyot system, and the yields average 11,000 kg/ha.

The grapes are hand-picked, pressed, and the juice is held at very low temperatures in stainless steel until it is ready to be made into sparkling wine. The must is then put into a special fermenter and fermented directly to sparkling wine, where it stays for 30 days. This more costly single fermentation process retains more refined aromas. No dosage is added. A number of batches are produced during the year to ensure freshness.

About Us

We are a close family business and are currently in our second generation. We are based on our natural lavender farm, Yorkshire Lavender in the North Yorkshire countryside.

So why wine?

With a member of our staff, Timi, a trained sommelier; it seemed crazy to let that enthusiasm and experience go to waste.

Wine starts in the ground! Just like lavender the correct soil, conditions and care are vital to grow excellent grapes to make exceptional wine.

Our commitment to our natural lavender farm along with Timi’s enthusiastic expertise has led to a developing interest in natural, organic, bio-dynamic wines.
