The winemaking/the viticulture:
Domaine des Lauriers stretches over 45 hectares throughout the Mediterranean garrigue. Its proximity to the sea brings cooling breezes from the Thau Bassin. Harvest is done at night to keep grape freshness. The two varietals are vinified separately, they’re gently pressed in a pneumatic press to avoid extracting hash tannins.

We are a close family business and are currently in our second generation. We are based on our natural lavender farm, Yorkshire Lavender in the North Yorkshire countryside.

So why wine?

With a member of our staff, Timi, a trained sommelier; it seemed crazy to let that enthusiasm and experience go to waste.

Wine starts in the ground! Just like lavender the correct soil, conditions and care are vital to grow excellent grapes to make exceptional wine.

Our commitment to our natural lavender farm along with Timi’s enthusiastic expertise has led to a developing interest in natural, organic, bio-dynamic wines.
